A late-flowering clustered bellflower under the trees – a wild apple tree – the overgrown reservoir where I see reed-warblers – moorhens – herons  – and a very large pike

Walking in the early evening I saw a stoat run along the edge of the wood – chestnut-red – long and sleek – characteristically hunched hindquarters – and shy of course – he melted away very quickly

'God is the garden and the gardener, and all my life I've been trying to catch Him at His work.'
